Add to channels

Adding the bot to your channel(s)

HelpDesk+ bot can be added to public or private channels.

What to know

  • The bot must be added to each channel you want to use it in
  • Channels can be configured for Support or Agents

Invite via mention

  1. Navigate to the channel you want to use HelpDesk+
  2. Type @helpdesk
  3. Hit Enter
  4. Click the button Add to Channel

Invite via /app

  1. Navigate to the channel you want to use HelpDesk+
  2. Type /app
  3. Choose Add apps to channel
  4. Select HelpDesk+
  5. Click the Add button

Now that the bot is added to the channel select the channel type and proceed with the configuration.
